Fuck You, 2016

Popular culture seems to really be speaking to me lately. I would have posted this yesterday but the rad onc news was too exciting. I can sure as heck empathize with John Oliver’s take on this shitty year – add a frame at the end of this that says, “Oh yeah, and Erika got fucking CANCER. Fuck you, 2016!”

  1. That was depressing. True, but still depressing. Not to sound like a pollyanna, but things can always be worse. Let’s hope the rest of 2016 and 2017 will be better.

  2. 2016 is the year you discovered, organized and launched your attack and made up your mind that you are going to beat cancer. You have turned adversity into advantage and sucked the good out of a bad situation. Had you been lackadaisical about your health and medical checkups and not been diagnosed, 2016 could have easily become a really shitty year.
